The painted iron dial has a shaped crest above decorated with a bouquet of roses, Roman numerals for the hours and an inner chapter with the quarter-hour marks. The steel-cut hands have decorative brass tips and the cow-tail pendulum is decorated with concentric circles.
The 30-hour movement has decorative steel framework with a layered top, a verge escapement with a cowtail pendulum, decorative brass wheelwork, glazed hinged doors to the sides and count-wheel striking on a bell mounted on top.
