The large gilt-bronze gorge style case has crisp molded edges, beveled glasses to five sides and a hinged handle above.
The pink porcelain dial has decorative grey and light blue fields for the main and subsidiary dials that include the days, date and alarm, black Roman numerals on white shields for the hours, steel-cut hands and a moon aperture framed by a dark blue night sky and 29.5 day scale.
The eight-day twin barrel movement with alarm has grand-sonnerie striking with the repeat out the top and a three position lever out the bottom, is wound and set off the backplate, retains the original gilt lever platform, is stamped ‘2058’ and strikes on a coiled gong.
