Porcelain chapter ring dial with sunken center and outside escapement, blue Roman numerals for the hours, red Arabic numbers for the five-minute marks and steel-cut hands.
The calendar has a porcelain chapter ring indicating leap years and a sunken center with days, date, month and moon dial.
The eight-day time and strike movement with a Brocot escapement is stamped ‘15148’ and has a mercury compensating pendulum.
Calendar mechanism is advanced from above, is set off the backplate and is also stamped twice, ‘15148’.
Often the serial numbers on these clocks are not matching, but off by small amount. It is nice to find one that the serial numbers match.
