The polychrome porcelain dial has the scenes of a fishing village below and a nautical scene in the center framed by gilt scrollwork and split seed pearls on a light blue ground. The chapter ring has black Roman numerals on white grounds for the hours and the time is indicated by gilt Breguet-style hands.
The circular eight-day time and strike movement has a steel suspension, a pendulum with the fast/slow adjustment in the center, is stamped ‘H&H’ and strikes on a bell.
Very nice quality in an unusually small size.
