A decorative early 20th century singing bird box in a decorative gilt-bronze case. When activated the colorful bird pops up, rotates, sings and flaps its wings.

The decorative gilt-bronze case is adorned with acanthus leaf moldings, floral sprays and garlands, corner mounts and musical trophies. The hinged lid is set within a decorative bezel and is decorated with a multi-colored musical trophy applique.

The movement is wound out the base and activated by a pull-lever out the side.
