Case

The gilt-bronze gorge case has the typical Jacot style handle with the squared sides and has wonderful enamel panels to the front and sides. The side panels depict female figures adorned in flowing garb and supported by gilt clouds. They both carry the initials of the enameller, O. T.

Dial

The exceptional Limoges decorative enamel dial has cherubs interacting towards the corners, gilt accents throughout, white Roman numerals for the hours and is signed by the retailer, Tiffany & Co, New York. It is also signed in the lower right corner by the enameller O. Thebault.

Movement

The eight-day time, strike, alarm and hour repeat movement has nicely engraved indications, is wound and set off the backplate, has the repeat button above, carries Jacot's trademark stamp, is numbered 4848 and has an engraved alarm dial with indicator hand.
