Case

The gilt-bronze Anglaise case has beveled glasses to five sides. It also has decorative engraved frets with birds amongst detailed scrollwork against polished gilt-bronze panels.

Dial

The silvered dial has Roman numerals and steel-cut hands.

Movement

The eight-day three-train movement is wound and set off the backplate. It is Westminster striking and strikes the tune on 4 underslung bells. At the hour it strikes the hour on the gong and does the complete tune on the bells. When the repeat button is pushed it repeats the last hour on the gong. The silvered lever platform sits atop the movement and has a bi-metallic screwed balance wheel. It has the serial number 2141 in the lower left corner of the backplate.
