A late-19th century bronze bulkhead clock with ship's striking including the dog's watch originally retailed by Tiffany & Co, New York.
Case
The circular case has fabric backed frets to the sides and a shaped bezel that is secured by a lock and has a thick beveled glass.
Dial
The 8.5 in. engraved silvered dial has a sunken second's dial, Roman numerals for the hours, steel-cut spade hands and is signed by the retailer, ''Tiffany & Co., New York''.
Movement
The large circular 8-day movement has a trapezoidal foot, screwed shaped pillars, a horizontally mounted lever balance platform with the fast/slow out the dial, twin fusees with maintaining power on the time side and strikes on a bell. It is ship's striking with the addition of the dog's watch which changes the strike progression to note the watch.
