Dial

The white porcelain dial has Roman numerals for the hours, steel-cut spade hands and a heavy beveled glass.

Movement

The small circular high-quality fusee 8-day time only movement is wound and set off the backplate, has screwed posts and is stamped on the back, 'Brevete-Red-Paris', ''25' and '3'. The unusual lever escapement is mounted horizontally on top, has a screwed-bimetallic balance wheel and a two-plane anchor that engages with a heavy vertically oriented escapewheel.
