Case:

The very heavy gilt-bronze case has a bollard handle, a glass viewing panel above, is stamped 1522 and has a pinned back door with the release on the bottom of the case.

Dial:

The finely lettered white porcelain dial has Roman numerals for the hours, steel-cut hands, an engine-turned mask and is signed ‘Lee & Son, Belfast’.

Movement:

The time-only eight-day movement is wound and set off the backplate, is numbered 1522 and has a lever platform horizontally mounted above.
