| Description: | A large late 19th century French carriage clock by Drocourt with an exceptionally engraved mask and unusually large movement. | 
| Case: | The large gilt-bronze case has a hinged handle above, beveled glasses to the sides and an oval viewing glass above. | 
| Dial: | The white porcelain dials for the hours and alarm have Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numbers for the alarm, steel-cut hands and a finely engraved and finished gilt mask. | 
| Movement: | The large eight day time, strike and alarm movement is wound and set off the backplate, has a large silvered balance platform with a lever escapement, has the indications in English, strikes on a gong and carries the Drocourt trademark and serial number, 7439. | 
| Notes: | The case size is not that of a giant, but the movement fills the case and is much larger than the standard carriage clock movement. | 
| Size: | Height to top of handle - 8 in. |
