Well-lettered porcelain dial with Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numbers for the fifteen-minute marks, finely finished cast ormolu hands and is signed ‘Kinable Palais Royale N.131’.

Movement:

The eight-day two-train movement strikes on a bell, is of exceptional quality, and still retains its original silk-thread suspension.

DD Kinable is listed as working at the Galerie de Pierre in the Palais Royale 1794-1830.
