The finely silvered and engraved dial has Roman numerals for the hours, an 8-day up-down indicator, a second’s chapter with Arabic numbers and signed by the maker, ‘French, Royal Exchange, London, 8679’.

The eight-day chain fusee movement is engraved by the maker, ‘French, Royal Exchange, London, 8679’. It has sub platform with a chain shield for the escapement with an Earnshaw detent and balance.
