The white porcelain dial has Arabic numbers for the hours, steel-cut hands and is signed by the maker W. Thornhill & Co., London.

The high-quality french carriage clock time only movement is wound and set off the backplate, has the balance platform above with the f/s regulator on the backplate and is stamped AA and 225.

The case, handle and backdoor are all hallmarked Thornhill, London and 1880.

Still retains the original leather carrying case and the original key.
