| Dial: | The rectangular polychrome enamel panel has a romantic scene below, stylized Roman numerals for the hours, steel cut hands and is indistinctly signed by the retailer, ‘Le Roy and Fils’. | 
| Movement: | The eight-day time only movement has screwed pillars, is wound and set off the backplate and retains the original silvered lever balance platform. | 
| Ref: | For similar enamel panels see Robert’s, ‘Carriage and Other Travelling Clocks’, pg.190. The carriage clock pictured has very similar ‘Sevres’ style panels that they attribute to being made in Limoges. |
