| Case: | The large circular case is in the form of a vertical boiler that includes rivets, a coal door, numerous pipes, shutoff valves, weights and guages, a smokestack with a thermometer and a governor. The whole stands on a circular Belgian marble base. | 
| Dial: | The silvered painted chapter-ring dial has Roman numerals for the hours and steel-cult hands. | 
| Movement: | The eight-day time and strike clock movement has a balance wheel escapement. The animated movement is wound out the side and drives the governor for several hours. | 
| Notes: | The dial is being restored. |
