Rare early 20th century French industrial clock in the form of a vertical boiler with barometer and thermometer. The multi-finish case is in the form of a coal fired steam cylinder with assorted pipes and relief valves. Above is the simulated centrifugal governor that spins for approximately 3 hours when the animation movement is wound and the whole stands on a square black Belgian marble base. |

The silvered clock dial has black Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic 5-minute marks, steel-cut hands and a gilt-bronze bezel with beveled glass. |
Movement: |
The animation movement is housed in the top, wound through the back and spins the governor for aproximately 3 hours when wound. |
