| Case: | The small rosewood case has crisp moldings, adjustable brass feet, a decorative handle above and thick beveled glasses to the sides and top. | 
| Dial: | The gilt dial has decorative damascening around the outside, floral engraving in the center, a smooth chapter ring with painted Roman numerals, steel-cut hands, a gilt chamfered border and is signed in minute lettering below the twelve. | 
| Movement: | The high-quality time-only fusee movement has an exceptional balance platform and is signed and numbered on the backplate. | 
| Ref: | This piece is pictured and described in the 2012 catalogue of an exhibition of fine antique clocks by Derek Roberts in conjunction with Patric Capon. |
