Case: |
The decorative white alabaster case has gilt-bronze mounts and supports a patinated metal statue of Jason holding the golden fleece and a staff. |
Dial: |
The engine-turned gilt-bronze dial has applied Roman numerals for the hours and steel-cut hands. |
Movement: |
The eight-day time and strike movement has countwheel striking on a bell and carries the 1855 Japy Freres Stamp, the eagle stamp and is numbered 56575. |

This clock was acquired from the same collection as the S-Town display now at the NAWCC museum in Columbia, PA. It was originally restored by John B. McLemore. |
